More than 10,000 workers at three of the ideal US carmakers possess started strike motion, their union says.
Work has been stopped at three vegetation owned by Total Motors (GM), Ford and Stellantis.
It came after labour contracts expired on Thursday evening. The United Autoworkers Union (UAW) mentioned the companies had now no longer recommend acceptable offers.
The union had sought a 40% pay develop for its roughly 140,000 contributors over four years, noting the same rise in pay for company leaders.
Final month, 97% of the union’s contributors voted to authorise a strike.
