British tech mogul Mike Lynch and his 18-three hundred and sixty five days-ragged daughter are among six folks missing after a luxurious superyacht sank off the flit of Sicily in a freak storm.
The 56m vessel became once carrying 22 folks along with British, American and Canadian nationals. Fifteen folks had been rescued, along with a one-three hundred and sixty five days-ragged woman.
The yacht, named Bayesian, capsized and sank at about 5am native time after a surprising storm generated a woterspout – a rotating column of air akin to a twister on land.
Mr Lynch, identified by some as “the British Bill Gates”, co-founded tool company Autonomy, which became once then bought by tech broad Hewlett-Packard for $11bn.
