BBC News went to Maré favela to meet 11 year-dilapidated twins, Samira and Samir da Silva, to study the formula violence affects their day to day lives as they grow up in a Rio de Janeiro’s shanty town. Brazil’s shanty cities are in most cases associated to criminality and high loss of life tolls and in 2015, extra than 100,000 college students had their courses cancelled on story of shootings shut to their colleges.
